YOUR TRAVEL GUIDE
Central America is a region in the Americas. This region is usually described as a land bridge or isthmus between the North American and the South American continents.
However, when talking about continents, everyone will refer to the North American continent and the South American continent, and Central America is usually referred to as a region belonging mainly to the North American continent.
Largest Country: Nicaragua, a popular backpacking destination in Central America, excellent option for Solo Travelers.
Smallest Country: El Salvador, the best beaches you’ll find in Central America. However, it comes with a reputation for being unsafe due to its high crime rates. If you are Solo Traveling, don’t go around at night or walk alone on the streets. Better safe than sorry, right?

The northernmost country of Central America is Belize, and it’s mostly known as the best scuba diving destination in the world!
The southernmost country is Panama, with amazing people, scenery, and history. The Panama Canal is an artificial waterway that is 82 km/ 51 miles long, which you must see.

Best Time to visit
Due to its proximity, Central America is one of the most popular vacation spots for Americans. It has a tropical climate, so you’ll need to plan around hurricanes and heat waves if you want good to enjoy a good time and nice weather.
The best time to visit Central America is definitely during the dry season. It starts in November and lasts until April. You can explore and care-free enjoy Central America without having to worry about heavy storms ruining your stay.
If you’re a surfer, I would recommend you to visit El Salvador during the wet season. It will be outside of the dry season, but from March to November, the waves are just perfect.
The sea turtles lover can also enjoy seeing turtles nesting on the beaches!
