TRAVEL GUIDE TO ENGLAND
This is your ultimate travel guide to England!
CAPITAL: LONDON
I’ve always been fond of Great Britain’s monarchy, my favorite part, that I’ve studied a lot is the Tudor Dynasty. I don’t know, there is something about the monarchy in the UK, right? Also the way they are fond of their Royal family. Even I was sad to hear about Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II’s passing. I imagine how touching it must have been for their subject.
A new Era is starting now, with the Queen no longer among us and King Charles taking the reins of the Monarchy. I am fond of King Charles as he is very attached to Romania, where he has acquired some lands, and very close to people living there in the region. I find him so human, so humble with those peasants. I accept better his errors with Lady Di, an amazing soul, who did not deserve that fate.
I’ve decided to take the UK out of Europe continent, as I see some other fellow travelers do, as for me they are a small continent of their own, even more now after BREXIT.
Apart from London, where all travelers are headed, there are fantastic places worth visiting all over England. Especially for Shakespeare and Harry Potter fans! Start your journey from Stonehenge, Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and the hot springs of Bath.
Urban cities and towns that look like they’re from another world, England has an incredibly rich history, age-old traditions, and spectacular gardens. You might have problems with food if you are vegetarian like I am.

Best Time to visit
You really need to plan in advance if you want to visit England. But even then, you can never rely on the weather. It changes all the time and is mostly cloudy, if not rainy.
However, the best time to visit England is in spring (late March to early June) and autumn (September to November), when it’s usually warm and dry. The sun finally comes out, as much as it can, London’s rooftop bars open up, and life starts in full swing.
July and August are the warmest months, but they are also the wettest. The sunniest parts of England are along the south coast of the country.
The best weather in England is in Bognor Regis: England’s sun king. It gets every year an average of 1 921 hours of sun. In comparison, parts of Scotland get fewer than 900 hours of sun, imagine how “sunny” the West Sussex town gets.
WINTER is the coldest period in England, running roughly from December to February. Nevertheless, November can often suffer very wintry conditions too. Temperatures often get as low as the freezing point (0C).
WINTER in England is more spectacular than Summer. During December, the country turns into a winter wonderland, and you’ll find streets lined with decorations and massive Christmas markets. The fireworks in London for New Year’s Eve are among the most spectacular in the world.
