TRAVEL GUIDE TO SPAIN
This is your ultimate travel guide to Spain!
CAPITAL: MADRID
Spain is the most visited country in the world. And I will tell you why.
As per World Tourism Barometer, Spain is the second most visited country in the world, recording 83.7 million tourists, after France with 90 million tourists. The trick is they count overnight visitors and not the destination. Paris being a great hub with flights arriving at Charles-de-Gaule (CDG airport code) has the most overnight visitors in the world, but their stop is not France, but Spain.
In 2021, the top European visitors to Spain were from France and Germany, outside the European continent, Americans and Mexicans are at the top.

Best Time to visit
The most visited season in Spain is SPRING and SUMMER, from March to late August, but in the South, it’s best to go off-season until October, as temperatures are still warm and you can enjoy the region uncrowded.
Spain is expensive during Summer. Book in advance or go off-season. I’ve been in Valencia in February and the weather was super nice.
WINTER in Spain is as spectacular as it would be in Switzerland, coming in second place among mountain peaks. The good news is you will have beautiful scenery, and nice sky resorts, but cheaper than in Switzerland.
Spain offers a large variety of scenery and winter activities, starting from Skiing or Snowboarding in the well-known Western Pyrenees, passing through the Sierra Nevada located in a natural reserve close to Granada.
