MUST-DO SOLO TRIPS IN YOUR 30S
There are so many places to visit in this world, that a lifetime is just not enough. Going on a Solo Trip is a life-changing experience. Might sound difficult the first time and I know a lot of people around me that are scared to take the step, but trust me: Once you go on a Solo Travel you will definitely want more.
When you travel alone, you are the most vulnerable, as you can rely only on yourself. And being only with yourself 24/7 can be challenging for many of us. I was in the same situation.
I always kept myself occupied when I was alone because I was so scared of facing ME, facing my inner self, and my own thoughts. Until someone told me that I don’t know how to be my best friend. It was like a train hit me. How, to be my own best friend? Is that a thing?
Well, let me tell you that it is a very real thing. And going by yourself, on a Solo Trip will help you accomplish that: becoming your own best friend. I started with baby steps, the first year when I moved to Paris. I suffered so much in my first year in Paris, being without my friends, as I could not do anything alone.
I did not even go and explore Paris, my dream city, because I did not know how to do it on my own. So, I started by taking a monthly subscription at the cinema, and twice a week, after finishing my job, I would go alone to watch a movie. The first few times I was so ashamed of being alone, I thought everyone is looking at me with pity because I have no friends.
But I soon discovered that other people were going on their own at the cinema and I started to look around at the restaurants and saw that people are eating alone at a restaurant and it is perfectly normal. The next step was to go on my first Solo Trip.
I went only for the weekend. Baby steps, like I told you. And this is how my life changed after I discovered that I am perfectly capable of going on a Solo Trip by myself.
So, if I managed to catch your attention, try my selection of Solo Travels that will definitely boost your confidence!
Must-Do Solo Trips while in your 30’s
Firenze or Florence will make you fall in love with Tuscany’s lifestyle through its culture, Renaissance art, and architecture.
My favorite city in the world.
SICILY ISLAND, ITALY
The island is famous for its cathedrals, vineyards, island beaches, and amazing architecture, but mostly, for its delicious food like cannoli, granita, and pasta alla norma.
CORSICA ISLAND, FRANCE
It’s not named The Island of Beauty for no reason. Corsica will amaze you with its beautiful landscape and luxuriant vegetation. The South of the Island is my favorite part if the island.

Zakynthos, also called Zante, is widely known for its golden beaches and massive rocky coasts, but mostly for turtle spotting and ship-wreck beach.
Côte d’Azur, the French Riviera still attracts people all around the world, thanks to its Mediterranean climate, medieval villages, and luxury boutiques.
MONTE CARLO, MONACO
The place where the rich and famous come, Monaco, is the smallest city-state after Vatican City. It’s popular due to its proximity to the French Riviera and tax-free status.
Lisbon is the stunning capital of Portugal and one of the most vibrant cities in Europe. You must visit this European capital to understand its vibe. Unique in the world.
You might have heard of Dubrovnik as the place where Game of Thrones was filmed, but it is known for its rich history and culture, stunning architecture, and beaches.
