TRAVEL GUIDE TO MIDDLE EAST
This is your ultimate travel guide to Middle East!
The Middle East is made up of 17 countries: Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Syrian Arab Republic, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
The Middle East it’s where the history of man, religion, and global issues merge. So this should definitely be on your bucket list.
Nevertheless, the Middle East has very little tourism compared to other continents. This is due to decades of wars and insecurity. Despite this, there are amazing destinations for Solo Travelers.
Dubai is highly known and visited and over-the-top luxury, whit the Burj Khalifa which will amaze you.
Jordan is my favorite and special destination in the Middle East and is very good for Solo Travelers.
Egypt is one of the most interesting places in the Middle East to visit at least once in a lifetime, due to its history and archeology.

When in MIDDLE EAST
YOUR TRAVEL GUIDE
Economically, the Middle East is known for its vast oil reserves. It is also home to three major world religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. Because of its economic, religious, and geographical location, the Middle East has been at the center of many world issues and political affairs.
Cairo, the capital of Egypt is the largest city in the Middle East with a population of cca 16 million. The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, is 2 717 feet tall and the second tallest building is the Royal Clock Tower Hotel in Mecca, which is 1 972 feet tall.
Currency: Dinar is used in several Middle Eastern countries, including Algeria, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, and Tunisia. AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) is used in Golf countries.
Connexion: While 26 percent of households in Arab countries have Internet access, most of that is through wireless networks. High-speed fixed broadband access remains very limited, partly due to the historically low levels of fixed phone lines throughout the region.
Accommodation: For budget travelers, Turkey and Iran are some of the cheapest countries in the region. Dubai, Jordan, and Israel are slightly more expensive countries to visit.
Culture: The majority of the countries in the Middle East are Muslim and have strict rules to follow, even for travelers. Make sure you dress appropriately to respect each country’s rules.
Best Time to visit
The best time to travel to the Middle East is between March and May, or September through November. The daytime temperatures are more comfortable than in the dead of summer, and the nights are cool.
November to February is considered to be the best time to visit Dubai, as temperatures are pleasant and there’s a buzz in the air with a range of events and activities from the Dubai Shopping and Food Festivals to the Dubai World Cup. All Parisians go to Dubai in February.
The hottest months are July and August, with summer being humid.
