Life is never easy, no matter where you live it. But when you live it in Paris, even the most difficult day of your life becomes the best day of your life. Why? Because you live in Paris! Seeing the Sparkling Eiffel Tower makes you forget about all your problems and you start smiling and feeling the energy going through your body.
I’ve always felt I should not accept being an ordinary person, because I was made to be EXTRAORDINARY! And I am keeping that in mind, every time I go through a rough time, because I’ve been blessed with so many things in my life and I am forever thankful to the Universe.
I’ve loved Paris long before I even stepped a foot here, but I’ve always knew this is the place where I should be. They say when you dream, you have to dream really BIG in order for it to happen and that’s what I’ve been doing for 2 years before leaving everything behind and coming to Paris. If I was scared to do that? Of course I was scared to death, but what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger … or at least, it’s what they say, isn’t it right? Well, for me it worked, because now I am stronger than ever. I’ve lost so much in my life and gained so much more in return that I can only be happy about my life, about who I am becoming … and you know what? I really like who I am becoming.
I have discovered that french life really suits me better, and I am pretty sure I did the right thing leaving everything behind and starting my life from zero, while in my 30’s. If other women at this age are home with a husband, children, busy posting on Facebook pictures of their daily routine, I took the liberty of conquering the world. I’ve learned in life that while good things come to those who wait … greater things come to those who get off their feet and do anything to make it happen.
Life also thought me an important lesson: Stop trying to please everybody. Do what you want, when you want and never make amends. And more important, don’t let the opinions of others keep you from reaching your goals.
Enthusiasm was the one thing that always kept me going forward and here I am, living la vie en rose in Paris!
Remember to F.L.Y. (First Love Yourself) and to seek perfection in everything you do. It’s the path to becoming EXTRAORDINARY!
